Commenting on the news, Operations Manager at Denyers, Tim Blake, stated “It is satisfying to get this certification from S.G.S. The XL Wheelchair had already received certification to 180 Kg for AS3695 at Regency Park in Adelaide, but the absence of a procedure to test beyond 180 Kg in Australia has meant that we have had to seek certification overseas. Even at 1,000 Kg, the XL wheelchair showed only slight deformation of the seat bars, which is quite staggering. This really is one very, very robust wheelchair.""
